THEME of Fall 2018 Course :MemorY

The theme chosen for the Fall 2018 class will be memory. As the VR technologies are advancing from the start of the class in 2016, content creation become more and more important as the VR industry is searching in a frantic pace for the 'killer app', to further popularization of the technology. A major aspect of the killer app is the content and meaning generated from the VR tool set, human memory, which is a basis for culture, knowledge and experience will be increasingly called into questions as society moves into complete digital information age. The issue of false memories, fake information and news, identity of a person and definition of what makes human apart from robot will come into increasing challenge.
